Continuing on my "Liberty series" journey of the horse, exploring and finding new discoveries both in and out of my studio....Why the title - Spirit? Ok, I'm not going to write a dissertation! but here is a definition

the prevailing or typical quality, mood, or attitude of a person
synonyms: ethos, prevailing tendency, animating principle, dominating characteristic, essence, quintessence

I think this sums up just what it is to be an artist. And also the essence of the horse; a powerful spirited animal of unquestionable beauty and grace.
