A small linocut which shows lava meeting the sea in Hawaii. The setting was dramatic, with the sunset illuminating the smoke column rising above the glowing lava.

This artwork is hand printed from linoleum blocks (plates) and cork sheets on archival printmaking paper, using oil-based inks. The linoleum and blocks and cork sheets are hand cut. Each separate color requires its own block or sheet. 4 colors. Maximum image size: 4" x 6" Overall paper size: 6" x 8"

This edition is limited to 20 copies, and each print is numbered, titled and signed by the artist. Each print is considered an original, and can vary slightly from the others. 2018

My print(s) are carefully packaged between multiple sheets of cardboard, matboard and padding, insured to the value of the artwork, and shipped via USPS.

Francis Stanton retains all copyright to the artwork. The copyright does not transfer with the sale of this print.
