This work explores a landscape with an event, something that has not been experienced, disembodiment and reconstitution. This landscape shows the consequences of ignoring climate change, as we merrily go into a future with catastrophic events unfolding. The feelings associated with that unusual event are explored. It is an exploration of abstractionism and painted in the style of abstract expressionism.
This work is painted on 12 oz gallery canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas is hand-stretched onto a frame is 121.5 cm in width and 91 cm in height.
This work was created on 6 April 2019.
In my paintings, I use the finest quality professional Liquitex acrylic paints, gallery canvas. The painting was sprayed with a glaze of varnish.
A Certificate of Authenticity with hologram - verification is attached to the image.
