Original artwork description:
"Lagoon" is one of these artworks where it was pretty clear what the title will be. To me it felt right away like a lagoon, maybe from far above. But then, the meaning if often in the eye of the beholder.
This work was created with different painting utensils and has therefore a very dynamic and energetic feel to it. The colors are partially transparent and also very opaque and deep. Greens and blues complemented by magenta and a rose color. The white background is slightly warmed by beige. The yellow fields are made of collage paper.
The work is done on canvas, the work is ready to hang with a hook attached on the back.
I used acrylic colors.
