This was the view from a lovely little hotel on Lac Annecy that we visited several times. It is a peaceful spot in a lushly beautiful area. The lake is surrounded by curving hills. The air always smells good. It is the essence of the idyllic French countryside and a favorite place of mine. Note the tiny boat house across the lake.
