Original artwork description:

Digital photographs do not show the real extent of the quality of the work done on each drawing. DSLR cameras cannot see the full details of the colouring.

All flowers are beautiful but roses have a very particular charm to them. Whatever colour be or variety they might be they're always so delightful to look at and this is how I felt about this rose, it was just a pleasure to look at.
The positioning of the blossoms around the bigger flower made me think of a little bouquet purposefully created by Nature for some young lass and I couldn't resist drawing it and this one also has the characteristic of being the first rose in my collection of artworks.
Many ask me whether Mother Rose is the actual name of this specimen and it is not. The title was given to this artwork based on the fact that the big rose at the centre seems like the mother of the blossoms all around it being her kids.
