This painting is based on a photo clicked during my visit to the ancestral village of Naliya in Kutch, Gujarat. Kutch villages are so peaceful with small huts and houses and old charming wooden doors. Peacocks roam around freely in the villages and a tourist like us is wowed by this magical sight.


I spotted a peacock on the roof of a house and instantly clicked a picture.
