Day three of #birbfest2024 and I've picked out that little flash of blue and orange, the kingfisher.
It's always a huge treat to see these flit past you, their iridescence makes me think of warmer climbs and crystal clear running water. Their sequinned plumage transforms even the greyest of drizzly days into something special and signifies a happy river.
