Artist's description:

"Kilroy" is a based on an image of a friend in a NYC subway station. "Kilroy was here" was a meme in the mid 20th century that soldiers left all over Europe and Asia during World War II. The basic image was the top of a head with a nose on the top of a fence with the fingers of the hands grasping the top. The Walt Disney Wonderful World of Color produced and televised "Kilroy" a four part telefilm about the small town adventures of Oscar Kilroy.
