Summer holidays are all about the kids on the beach.
You want them to have the memory of this magical day for ever, and you don't mind preparing for the occasion, collecting together bucket, spades, rugs, sun screen, food, drink, chairs, towels, spare clothes and anything else that might be useful just so that when they grow up and have children of their own they remember this day as perfect.
I painted this after a day in North Norfolk at Hunstanton. I am a grandmother now and can sit and observe, and draw instead of chasing after stray children.
This is painted on a natural linen canvas with artist quality oil paints.
It's unframed, but is ready to hang .
Thanks for looking!
