This portrait is done on a rough linen canvas - quite unique for miniatures, for usually small artworks are made on fine and smooth canvases. This linen is different - it is so harsh you can see it's large grain through the paint. I was hoping it could make palette knife strokes more explicit.
The artwork is currently sent to an exhibition in NY so it is not unavailable for online sale.
Original handmade oil painting on linen canvas, a small miniature made with palette knife only - a very painstaking and precise work. A piece is from "colorful emotions" collection where I mix fauvism and pop-art styles.
Artwork size is 19x19 cm. Framing is possible on request.
