Artwork description:

No worries..... it is just a minor existensial crisis!

This is a large reduction linocut with 3 colors, reduction means that as I print the colors and sculpt the plate, I cut away the lino as I go along, leaving a lino plate I can't print more from, so there are only 7 prints. Reduction lino is quite a difficult process as you have to register, that is, line up the plate and paper every single time you print. I love this technique, it is my favorite as it is such fun to develop the print, sculpting with the knife and painting with the roller!
All my linocuts are handprinted by me, the artist, and I sign, title and number each print. The edition is 7 prints.

If you would like to see some films with me printmaking, have a look in the "me at work" section here in my shop.

SIZE: The linocut itself measures 24" x 12", (60cm x 30cm )
and the beautiful piece of warm white paper measures 26" x 15",(66cm x 38cm)

Linocuts are wonderful graphic pieces of printmaking, that can make for a real focal point in your room, you are so welcome to ask me about framing advice etc.

SHIPPING: I'll mail "Just a Minor Existencial Crisis" to you protected by tissuepaper and a plastic sleeve so it arrives safely, see my reviews. My prints come with a flier (see thumbnail) explaining what a linocut is, and who I am as an artist.

If you have any questions just get in touch..... that's what I am here for!

Thanks for looking and welcome back.
