Original artwork description:

A mixed media artwork made with charcoal and pastel drawings, collaged onto a background using acrylic paint.

A slight departure from my normal paintings in that I have introduced a human character, and used collage as a medium.

It is a light hearted piece incorporating my favourite things; seagulls, bikes and my current favourite colour - neon pink.

I drew the girl on the bike a long time ago, and whilst so many other sketches end up in the bin, she stayed with me for a number of years before I eventually decided I needed to incorporate her into one of my paintings..... so here she is!

Materials used:

Chalk pastels, pencil, charcoal, acrylic paint
