Original acrylic painting on canvas inspired by the geology and sea stacks at Saltwick Bay near Whitby on the Yorkshire coast. Iron oxide bands give colour to the local cliffs, and the 'pink' of ancient alum burning tops the rock stacks in the low tide. The painting is finished with a matte varnish for protection.
