Original artwork description:

Ireland is still on my mind as I head into the mountains surrounding my home. Beautiful Torc Falls, just outside of Killarney, in lush Kerry County, is an Irish gem. The hike and short climb were well worth the work to indulge in this beautiful scene.
Painting entirely with a palette knife, using a rich impasto technique, helped to capture the ruggedness and dampness of the terrain, the filtered sunlight cavorting in leaves and water. It's a joy to escape to a place so lovely.

Materials used:

Graham oil paints, palette knife, canvas
