Original artwork description:

In Time for Spring (12X24) appeared on canvas one day in early Spring when Mother Nature couldn't decide which season was coming, which was going. It was a blustery day, beautiful in its own way, but one that caused me to long for sunshine, warmer temps, blossoms on the branches. Hence, this optimistic subtle composition of bright floral design. Spring can feel that way too--strong yet gentle, bold yet fragile, alive and yet fleeting. This piece captures a bit of that in high-textured oils. Created on gallery-wrap canvas with rims finished in black, the painting is ready to hang and/or frame.

Materials used:

oil paint, brush, palette knife, brush handle
