For this relief abstract artwork, I took inspiration from the structure of the Cappadocia area in Turkey, seen from above by a hot air balloon. It was a very poetic experience and full of a strong sense of wonder. I used a very important and dear to me tailoring fabric, as my father was a very good tailor and I grew up in fashion and haute couture ...... at the beginning of my career I was a fashion designer.
When I create abstract artwork, all the information that is part of my childhood, my family, my memories, my emotions, my memory, my travels, come back to the surface and then create original works of art expressing my identity.
