Original artwork description:

There’s something majestic in a look of a tiger. Each one that I’ve painted and endowed with different characters has this almost spiritual look.

I chose the white tiger for this painting for a reason. I wanted to make him even more unique. White tigers are not separate species; they're Bengal tigers with mutation and there's only 1 white tiger to every 10 000 normal colored ones.

The way he looks into the distance is symbolic to me. It seems that he’s looking into the future; he knows what is coming and shows full readiness and confidence.

I have an alternatibe name for this painting - "Baihu". Baihu is the sacred beast from Asian culture's myth. Baihu is a white tiger, a guardian that has many divine powers such as punishing and warding off evil, scourge, praying for riches and promoting good fortune.

Even though Baihu seems to be calm and peaceful I see the great power in his look, the resting energy and the force of a wild animal and predator.
