Some of my most popular paintings are my pop art food canvases so I'm repeating some of the themes on unframed A4 paper.

This one depicts a delicious tub of pink ice cream with a blue spoon sticking out of it. I love sweets and I love the texture of ice cream.

The food is shown suspended against a sky blue background and painted in bright colours with black outlines around them, creating a graphic 'pop' style image.

It is painted in acrylics on thick A4 acrylic paper. PLEASE NOTE: the painting doesn't come framed, but I've taken photos of it in a black A4 frame for display purposes. It's signed on the back.

I've been inspired to create work like this by classic pop artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Patrick Caulfield.
