Here is a portrait of the renowned singer, songwriter and civil rights activists, Bob Dylan. Many of his songs reflect his anti-war and pro civil rights attitude. He has recently become a Nobel Laureate for the poetry in his lyrics. Dylan has sold over 100 million albums and is one of the top selling artists of all times. I have made his portrait somewhat dark to portray his seemingly dark personality.
I named this painting after one of Dylan's most popular songs. It has been recorded by many other vocalists besides Dylan. Check out youtube for many variations of the song by Dylan and other artists.
I SHALL BE RELEASED is a one-of-a-kind original work of art. It is produced using India ink and acrylic paint. I have stayed with mostly grey, black and white.
I only sell original work so there will only be one original and no authorized copies will ever be made. The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.

This painting will be ready to hang, out of the box. It will be mounted on one inch thick foamboard with a two inch border all around. It will have a hanging strip on the back and I include a “monkey hook” for easy attachment to your wall. It can be on your wall within five minutes.
