Black bears are common in our area and the cub is my favorite! I decided to paint a curious cub looking around. I used the palette knife and brushes to create thick texture , all my paintings are sealed with clear varnish before I sell them to protect them for years to come. The edge of this painting is painted black it 1.5 inch gallery canvas.
Materials used:
Oil on heavy weight gallery wrap canvas, tools used palette knife and natural bristle brushes.
