An acrylic painting on board, inspired by evenings spent walking on the beaches of the northern UK; stars begin to rise as the setting sun leaves behind a beautiful display of cloud-colours. It's painted with professional quality acrylics, in shades of violet, raw umber, Paynes grey, burnt umber, cerulean and white, and is completed with one coat of matt varnish for protection. The title is taken from the writing of Seamus Heaney, one of my favourite poets.
The back of the painting is protected with strong craft paper, taped to the edges of the board, and the painting is signed and labelled on the reverse. It is unframed, and there are no picture hooks/string on the back; it can either be put on a shelf for display, or fitted into your own frame.
The painting will be securely wrapped in a cardboard box and sent tracked/ insured with Royal Mail.
Thank you for your interest in this painting; I'd be delighted to answer any questions about it, so please get in touch if there is anything you'd like to ask.
