One of my favorite subjects to paint is the wild wolf, they are predatory carnivorous mammals. Highly intelligent, the hunt in packs to bring down larger prey such as elk and moose. I spend a great deal of time photographing wildlife for my painting references, mostly in Denali National Park, in Alaska
