A boisterous group of wild horses, gathered together and interacting, are depicted in this amazing show piece. The piece is a 30x40 oil on canvas and incorporates some iridescent paints to highlight some gold and copper colors on the main horses back. The horses are made up of a great mixture of colors from appaloosa, white, brown and black. Their hair floating in the breeze and showing movement in the group.
This is based on a photo and it just struck me as such an amazing image, all the horses jostling for position.

williamsburg handmade oils, Gamblin oils, gallery wrapped canvas on stretcher boards
