Hollyhocks are the quintessential cottage garden plants and I love their height and frilliness. I have trouble growing them but I saw them flourishing in the gardens of Belton House in Lincolnshire. Its a wonderful place to settle down with my paints and the flower borders there are definitely an inspiration.
This picture is one of my mini oils on board. The painting is presented in a cream mount that I have cut myself in my studio. The painting is signed on the reverse and is backed with paper for neatness. It comes protected in a cellophane print bag.
The image size is 8.3cms x 8.3cms
The mount size is 20cms x 20cms
This little painting looks great displayed in its mount, propped on a mantelpiece, shelf or on an easel. It can also go straight into a ready made frame of your choice.
