A drawing that explores the layered history of indentured contracts and slavery that was integral to the industrial revolution and the manufacturing industries of the 16th to the 19th Century.

The image is made up of layered drawings of people associated with the slave trade and the trading of goods and services utilising slavery and indentured contracts, using pencil, gesso and watercolour paint on watercolour paper.

This image forms part of my ever expanding Lost Generations project.
