The original photo reference was taken by me on a road near Bundaberg called Hinkler Drive, so I name this pastel piece 'Hinkler'. The subject is a Red-tailed Black Cockatoo (female) which are on the endangered list of birds in Australia.
I used both soft pastels and pastel pencils on Pastelmat.
