A linocut reduction print (7 colours in 5 layers) of a Herring gull, perched atop a wooden post. This print was drawn from a photo I took of the gull eyeing us carefully as we approached in a canoe. Gulls can be a nuisance at times, but I admire their cheekiness, intelligence and resourcefulness as well as their survival skills and adaptability.
