Coming from a prior career in Philosophy of Mind, I find that abstract painting provides a cooling and calming balm for the mind when it is in soft colours like these; I certainly had that feeling when I painted this. It should also convey a mist or sense of rain (especially on the right side of the painting). The clouded colours are suggestions of blossoms and water.
