Original artwork description:

This is another scene chosen because I liked the contrast in building sizes from the smaller area in the foreground to the larger buildings stretching out beyond the horizon. It was drawn over two sunny but hazy and muggy days as you can see by the colour of the sky. You could see the hazy pollution hanging over the city. There are so many tall buildings here and I think this view has the Tokyo Tower in it with many other high density areas stretching for miles in each direction. It was another very enjoyable challenging and detailed picture as I tried to be as true to the scene as possible with colours and shapes. I love this drawing process and how defining the shapes of the buildings always leads to unexpected areas of impasto colour that are very abstract when looked at closely. I love these little Bob Ross “happy accidents!”
