Original artwork description:

At the start of my favourite wood there is this stand of hazel trees, once a hedge, but now grown out. They twist and turn and are gnarly and covered in moss. Absolutely adorable.

I have recently resumed painting landscapes in oil, and taken my inspiration from the landscapes around the family home in Beaminster, Dorset (UK). For many years I walked these hills and fields with my late father, and they hold many memories and emotions.
