The only world heritage site which is in daily use, Mumbai's CSM terminus, ( formerly Victoria Terminus) is painted from photos, taken on a rainy day.
In my minimalist realistic approach, leaving pristine white paper around edges and creating a space within the picture plane, the artwork brings out the atmosphere of a bright yet rainy day.
On archival Arches pure cotton 300gsm paper, the view of the monument is painted in archival grade French and Korean watercolours. The water on the road flows out of the inner rectangle, the dome rises out, adding to the poignancy and majesty of the imagery.
Ships unframed with a certificate of Authenticity express courier via UPS.
