It is a cold Spring, daffodils reluctantly show their heads. I'm at the top of a dead end road facing a run down yellow house which they say is haunted. Curtains flutter through open windows, doors hang crookedly, the garden is bramble holding a wicker fence at a crazy angle.
Crows squabble overhead, their cries echoing over the hillside… I shiver but keep painting.
