Artwork description:

At the beginning of May, I saw a hare bounding through the crops in a field where I was walking. It passed quite close, so fast that it disappeared from view quickly. It wasn't my first sighting of a hare in the wild but seeing one is enough of a rarity to be tremendously exciting.
'Hare in the Hedgerow' is a little linocut where I have a hare peeping inquisitively out between stems of cow parsley. They are elusive creatures, sacred, mystical, a symbol of abundance and fertility
.
Each linocut is handprinted in black ink onto 200gsm white A5 acid free paper and is numbered and initialled in pencil on the front.

This is an edition of 100. Each print is unique, no two being exactly the same.

This print is unframed but will fit into an A5 off the shelf frame.
The print measures 7.5cms x 7.5cms and the paper measures 14.8cms x 21cms.
It comes wrapped in acid free tissue paper as I no longer use plastic print bags.
