I adore painting hands, this is essentially a study of hands. In this case, the hands belong to myself and my twin sister.
The dark grey seems to have become a bit of a signature background colour. I love grey, I love it's warmth and it suits skin tones.
As twins, we spend a lot of time together, we try to have uncommon interests but inevitably we will turn up somewhere wearing the same clothes ( without pre arranging it) or will buy each other exactly the same cards or gifts. So, we have a bond and that is loosely represented by the fact that we are still attached. The black tape has nothing to do with bondage, it just seems to work with te general image.
