A plein air pastel done by the river in Louise Hays Park, Kerrville, Texas. This is one of the more scenic areas in Texas because of the tree-covered hills and the rivers, which provide recreation, fishing, and pleasant spots such as this. The river here is lined with tall cypress trees.
This is actually a view of two trees, but so close they look like one. The buildings in the background were not tall, just on a bluff at a higher elevation than the river.
