Original artwork description:

ORIGINAL NIKOLA TSVETANOV ARTWORK !!!

2022, "Bumblebee" - wood wall sculpture, ready to hang

This original linden wood wall sculpture is one of the latest woodworks of the talented Bulgarian professional sculptor Nikola Tsvetanov, deeply inspired by postmodernism, futurism and op art. The artist's concept is to create a bumblebee art form with the use of vertical lines and waves in depth of the wall art. The final abstract animal portrait reminds of a futuristic cubism shape in gray, white and bronze colors, which welcomes and reflects neutral calm feelings in its viewer. It is one extraordinary woodcarving masterpiece and exquisite modern home wall décor.
Nikola Tsvetanov’s work encompasses many contemporary art styles with the act of minimal drawing being key to his exploration of form and sculptural composition. Mining a space between figuration and abstraction, the artist consistently returns to nature as a point of departure, exploring biological figures and scientific shapes as a metaphor for transformation.
