Artist's description:

A beautiful panoramic Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco scene captured by my palette knife with a lot of texture and movement on a large gallery wall canvas. Featuring my exclusive Northern California color palette with that amazing gold grass, undeniable orange of the lady lounging in the bay, and Pacific Blues. This original painting works well in a bedroom, foyer, living room, hallway, beach house or office. The color palette and textured style fits in well with many decorating styles.
This listing is for a large, gallery quality abstract, textured landscape painting. Using mostly the palette knife, this piece has a lot of texture and movement.

It's undeniable, and compliments the myriad of blues circling underneath in the cold pacific ocean perfectly.

M Y B A C K G R O U N D:
I am a full time, award winning and gallery represented professional artist, living in the San Francisco Bay. All my paintings are oil on canvas, using mainly palette & painting knives, with thick application, bold strokes, painterly detail and rich colors.
The palette knife gives my art a unique combination of contrast, fluidity, depth, texture and impact. I do not typically use a brush, as I prefer the way I can mix buttery paints and smear them on my canvas with a flexible metal blade. The amazing thick texture achieved with the knife reflects the light more than a regular brush painting and gives a beautiful sense of movement, with subtle highlights.
I am originally from New Zealand, where the beauty of nature is unsurpassed. The luminescent beauty of our amazing world inspires me, and I feel it in every stroke. I try to reflect this in my work and invite you to enjoy it as I do.

Artist's Statement:

Lisa is an award winning, modern palette knife artist with an unmistakable style, and colorful liveliness in her distinctive paintings. Given the name “The Knife Queen” by one of her many facebook fans, Lisa maneuvers her artistic knife with an uncanny fluidity. She creates vibrant landscapes, cityscapes, and portraits, hanging internationally in collectors’ homes across the USA, England, Ireland, UAE, Australia, New Zealand, and the Netherlands. It takes a very talented and accomplished artist to use a painting or palette knife. This technique is unique, as the paint is applied very thickly, adding subtle highlights with a beautiful sense of light and movement. Combined with this, is Lisa’s outstanding ability to capture with her knife the incredible detail and personal elements that will resonate with your subconscious, and transport you into her colorful world of visual transcendence.
