Striking fear into even the hardest of marmot hearts, this beautiful bird of prey, the Golden Eagle, is found all over the world, hunting rabbits and hares from Alaska to North Africa and China.
It's another portrait, which I'm enjoying as it allows me to really get stuck in to the detail of the face. The eye alone was a wealth of oranges, ambers and gold.
A4 mixed media, acrylic, pen and pencil.
