Artwork description:

This linoprint is inspired by a friend's 'Gluggle jug' which I spotted in her kitchen, and immediately fell in love with! (They are fun items which make a noise as liquid is poured from them, hence the name.) It is a two block linocut and was remarkable quick to cut, giving a lively and spontaneous mood to the resulting linoprint I think. I used a rainbow roll to give the gradated background colours.

Materials used:

Lino printed on Japanese Similie paper using linseed oil, water washable inks
