The portrait of a beautiful African American girl with a delicate smile and eyes! The goal was to capture on canvas the enigmatic beauty of the girl. Much time was spent, capturing the wonderful range of hues and values of her skin color, ranging from dark oranges and violet tinted highlights to bright almost orange and red colors. I added this beautiful girl the Sunflower wreath which only emphasizes her tenderness, youth, and grace.
