Just about skimming the tops of the waves, on their way to and from, I see them every spring, and then again in fall, beautiful canada geese.
This is a handprinted linocut, I cut the linoleum with sharp knives, it is a bit like sculpting the plate, and direction of cut, thickness of the cut etc all paly a vital role in how the image will look when printed. I then roll up the lino plate with black ink and print it onto a crisp white heavy weight piece of printmaking paper.
Once dry I sign and number the print, the geese are printed in a limited edition of only 35 prints.
Please note you might not receive the number in the photo.
This print fits right into a ready made frame.
The piece of paper measures 17" x 14" (44 cm x 35 cm )
and the actual printed image measures 9.5" x 14" (24 cm x 35 cm )
When buying prints, a good tip is to cut a piece of paper to this size, that gives you a much better idea of the size than anything else.
I ship from my studio in Denmark, with a lot of experience of shiping my prints and paintings so they arrive safely, see my reviews for confirmation of this.
See you soon again,
