Gay Triptych is my first contribution to the "Freedom Collection". I want to discuss the freedoms we have and how we use them. This is not to judge, this is to reflect, to discuss, to negotiate, to exchange opinions.

The Gay Triptych consists of three works all made of Grindr-Profile-Screenshots. Grindr is the biggest gay dating platform. I want to discuss the language, the art we present ourselves and the role, body culture and paid sex play. This is not to condemn gay life, I am part of it as well.

"Luxury Go(o)ds" puts a focus on the escorts on gay dating platforms, trying to attract ...

"Inner values" puts a focus on the pictures gay men use on dating platforms, displaying themselves to create attention ...

"Common Language" puts a focus on the labels gay men give themselves, from explicit sexual symbols to "role" preferrences to "No sex" messages ...
