Original artwork description:

Galene in ancient Greek religion was a minor goddess personifying calm seas. Hesiod enumerates her as one of the 50 Nereids, sea-nymph daughters of the 'Old Man of the Sea' Nereus and the Oceanid Doris, perhaps identical with her sister Galatea.
Galene is a one of a kind original work of art. It is produced using India ink and acrylic paint on 5 mil archival grade mylar mounted on tempered masonite. I have stayed with my usual pallet of warm “earthy” colors.
I only sell original work so there will only be one original.
The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
This painting will be ready to hang, out of the box. It will be mounted on tempered masonite with a two inch wide painted border. It will have a hanging strip on the back and I include a “monkey hook” for easy attachment to your wall. It can be on your wall within five minutes.
