Artwork description:

In the agrarian traditions of Old Europe, as well as in the early farming settlements in America, each full moon had a name. The name was based on the cycles and activities of the natural world both plant and animal. I used Basswood for its fine grain. Each print is unique, printed only once on composition Gold Leaf.

Materials used:

black ink on 100% rag paper, composition gold leaf
