Original artwork description:

An impressionistic painting of another area of Burgundy vineyards under frost in winter. The glacis technique, of many layers of thinned single colour paint of increasing thickness has been used. This gives a good depth and richness of colour. _x000D_ The colours underneath the frost have been focused on and drawn out._x000D_ _x000D_ The canvas edges have been painted black so that this can be hung without the need for framing. The canvas is finished with a coat of satin varnish._x000D_ _x000D_ French landscape.
