The 4th painting in a series that tackles the beauty of the planet in which we live, and all of the problems that are facing it and our survival. However, they are depicted in such an abstract way with cool, beautiful colors, that the mood of these pieces are peaceful and serene. It is a wonderful juxtaposition of theme and emotional effect. This particular painting combines two of my popular painting techniques and bridges the gap between two of my newer series of works. The title is taken from the lyrics of a popular Smiths song and the texture, movement and shapes in this piece are very tactile. The different sides (ages) seem to be meshing together, or rather swept away in a current of massive climate change.
Note: This painting is painted on reclaimed and recycled wood. It is recycled, reclaimed, and eco-friendly. The piece is painted black on the sides and framing is not necessary.
This painting is signed on the front and includes my Certificate of Authenticity.
