«From Void to Eternity» is a diptych representing the duality of our Universe. The petroglyphs etched forever in the stone, while their creators disappeared some thousands years ago, highlight the contradictions between the finiteness of human lifespan and the Cosmos infinity. In this artwork forget about Big Bang theory, it’s this sensual split spreading through ages that gave birth to the Universe.

This artwork is part of a wider collection called "Cosmos" inspired by my inedit trips through some of the most remote parts of my native Siberia.

At the time I made this painting, during my "Cosmos" period, I was reading Michel Onfray's Cosmos. It deeply resonated with the memories of my Siberian journeys in the mountains to meet people who still live like they did a centery ago, in closeness and harmony with the nature.
