I wanted to explore the connection between the universe and all the creatures contained in it.
I have always been fascinated by the connection between the macro and micro worlds that are contained within ourselves and the universe around us. From the smallest cell in our body it can be seen to be reflected and mimicked in nature and the cosmos, this inherent link between animal, human and the universe.
Utilising this idea I created a creature that incorporates different physical aspects of the pangolin animal with human characteristics.
Her animal features, fleshy skin, human like eyes and hair invites the viewer to contemplate this idea.
