Thousend flowers
The flowering of a marsh marigold flower had fallen into the pre-breeding dish for salad plantlets. During the night, thousands of tiny drops of dew collected on the underside of the thin cover plate. The moisture condensed at the coldest point. In every dewdrop a picture of the flower. In the early morning, the drops were less than half a millimeter and sat close together, later merged several together and then formed larger drops with gaps in between.
